Are you ready to experience the thrill of a Ferrari in a whole new format? Have you ever imagined a luxury SUV that delivers supercar-level performance? If so, the 2024 Ferrari Purosangue is here to redefine your expectations. This remarkable vehicle combines the elegance and power of a Ferrari with the practicality of an SUV, making it a unique offering in the automotive world.
At Ferrari of Greenwich, we are excited to showcase the Purosangue and its exceptional performance capabilities. Let’s explore what makes this SUV a true standout.
Unleashing the Power: Naturally Aspirated V12 Engine
At the heart of the Purosangue lies a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, a rarity in a market dominated by turbocharged powertrains. This engine is not just about numbers; it’s about the experience.
Power and Torque
The Purosangue’s V12 engine delivers an impressive 715 horsepower at 8500 rpm and 528 lb-ft of torque. What sets it apart is the way it delivers power. With 80% of the torque available from just 2,100 rpm, you’ll experience immediate responsiveness as soon as you press the accelerator. Whether you’re merging onto the highway or navigating city streets, the Purosangue provides the power you need without hesitation.
Linear Power Delivery
Ferrari is known for its seamless power delivery, and the Purosangue is no exception. The engine delivers a “never-ending” acceleration characteristic of Ferrari’s V12s. You’ll feel the surge of power as it reaches its peak output at 7,750 rpm, with a redline of 8,250 rpm. This linear power delivery ensures that every drive is exhilarating, making it feel more like a sports car than an SUV.
Exhilarating Engine Sound
One of the most captivating aspects of the Purosangue is its engine sound. The naturally aspirated V12 produces an operatic engine note that is unique to Ferrari. As you accelerate, the sound envelops you, creating an emotional connection to the vehicle. It’s a symphony of power that enhances the driving experience, making every journey memorable.
Sports Car Architecture: A Chassis Like No Other
The Purosangue delivers genuine Ferrari handling dynamics. It features a dedicated chassis that is more akin to a sports car than a conventional SUV.
Transaxle Layout
The Purosangue employs a mid-front engine placement with the dual-clutch transmission located at the rear. This transaxle layout creates an optimal 49:51 front/rear weight distribution, which is crucial for achieving balanced handling. This design allows the Purosangue to respond to driver inputs with precision, making it feel agile and nimble on the road.
Advanced All-Wheel Drive
The powertrain includes a unique 4×4 transmission system with a separate Power Transfer Unit (PTU) at the front of the engine. This advanced all-wheel-drive system ensures that power is distributed effectively to all four wheels, enhancing traction and stability in various driving conditions. Whether you’re navigating wet roads or tackling winding mountain passes, the Purosangue provides confidence-inspiring performance.
Four-Wheel Steering
To further enhance agility and stability, the Purosangue is equipped with an independent four-wheel steering system, adapted from the 812 Competizione. This system allows the rear wheels to turn in conjunction with the front wheels, improving maneuverability at low speeds and enhancing stability at high speeds. The result is a driving experience that feels both responsive and controlled, making the Purosangue a joy to drive.
Active Suspension: A Revolutionary System
The Purosangue features a world-first Ferrari active suspension system, developed in partnership with Multimatic. This innovative system takes suspension performance to a new level.
Active Damping
The active suspension system uses hydraulic shock absorbers and a 48-volt electric motor on each corner. Unlike conventional dampers, the electric motor can actively apply force to the suspension, controlling body roll and pitch much more effectively. This means that whether you’re cruising on the highway or tackling tight corners, the Purosangue maintains a level of comfort and control that is truly remarkable.
No Anti-Roll Bars
This innovative system replaces traditional anti-roll bars, allowing for a comfortable ride over uneven pavement while maintaining tight body control during cornering. The absence of anti-roll bars means that the suspension can adapt more quickly to changing road conditions, providing a smoother ride without sacrificing performance.
Enhanced Grip
By actively managing the load on each tire, the suspension system increases lateral grip by an estimated 10% compared to typical setups. This enhanced grip translates to improved cornering performance, allowing you to push the Purosangue to its limits with confidence.
Aerodynamics: Focused on Efficiency and Downforce
The design of the Purosangue is heavily influenced by aerodynamic efficiency. Ferrari engineers have spent hundreds of hours in the wind tunnel and used Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimize the vehicle’s shape.
Unique Airflow Management
An “air curtain” is created between the front bumper and wheel arch trim to seal the front wheels and prevent turbulent air from building up. This innovative design feature helps to reduce drag and improve overall aerodynamic performance.
Drag Reduction Features
Other aerodynamic features, such as the “aerobridge” on the bonnet and the innovative spoiler design, work together to reduce drag and optimize airflow. These elements not only enhance performance but also contribute to the Purosangue’s striking appearance.
Integrated Sensors
The clean front-end design of the Purosangue eliminates the need for a traditional grille, seamlessly integrating the camera and parking sensors. This not only improves aerodynamics but also adds to the vehicle’s modern aesthetic.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
